Vintage USA Rawlings Mickey Mantle MM6 "Comet" Professional Baseball Glove 1960

I have for bids, a USA 1960 Mickey Mantle MM6 “Professional” baseball glove.  It is stamped “The Comet” which was only manufactured for three years.  The “Commerce Comet’ was Mickey Mantle’s nickname.  The glove is in excellent, played with condition, with no rips, tears, or holes. The flash made the glove look redder on the inside, in pictures #2 thru #5.  Leather piping is very nice and complete.  To my knowledge, the 1960 model was the only MM6 or MM5 Professional model from 1959 to 1970 with rolled leather piping (was also more expensive).  All of the others had the leather flat piping.  Also, the stampings were in silver, instead of black.  Still shows the silver on the inside web, where it says “Custom Crafted.”  Has a nice and easy to read Mickey Mantle old style stamped signature in glove pocket, along with “Professional”.  “MM6,” Rawlings, and “Made in USA” are stamped on glove’s heel, while “The Comet” is stamped on the pinky.  All metal eyelets are secured and very nice.  All leather lacing is original and in excellent condition.  Glove has the double XX anchored web with the large X laced above, and a nice Rawlings brass button.  Rawlings patch is solid and complete, but shows light surface wear.  Inside is just as nice as the outside, with a full leather lining, with no rips, tears, or holes.  Glove is 61 years old.  Mickey Mantle played from 1951-1968, all for the New York Yankees, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.  Glove is a great Mickey Mantle collectible!!!  Thank you for looking.
