    Description

    This is a lovely stein, made in Germany (see etched "made in Germany on bottom) and is an original Thewalt (also etched on bottom.) It has a ceramic eagle on the pewter lid. The stein seems to be hand painted. Beautiful colors. It has a ceramic mermaid for a handle. Around the middle is painted an anchor and paddles, large sailing ship, fish and pitch fork, and written is "HIPP HIPP HURRAH." The hinge to the top is tight and in good shape. It is in excellent vintage shape, no cracks, nicks or breaks. The pewter is in excellent condition.  Overall condition is excellent.  Includes original hang tag.
