    Description

    We are offering a great-looking vintage Stall & Dean baseball glove in new, unused condition! Model 8063 Professional Model. I measure it to be an 11.75" or 12" size, measured from the tip of the forefinger down along the contour of the leather thru the pocket and out to the edge of the wrist. This fits my medium sized adult hand well. For a left-hand thrower. The stampings say -- Stall & Dean Brockton Mass., 8063, Professional Model, Full Grain Cowhide, Scoop-Eze, Flex Action. This model has a closed web and a conventional back. Made of high quality full grain leather. Flexible with no dryness.
    Stall & Dean was a major glove maker during the early 1900s into the 1960s to about 1970 but soon after discontinued production. We had several different models that have been carefully stored away for about 50 years but this is last few remaining. This may have been a limited final production run for Stall & Dean.  On the inside palm area is stamped -- 'made especially for Stall & Dean in Japan'. Don't pay the same amount of money for a cheaply made vinyl glove that will soon fall apart when you can buy this rugged full grain cowhide glove that will last a long time.
