    Description

    Vintage German (exact age unknown) lidded stein with a prominent military cannon found on the spelter metal lid with thumb latch.  The stein has colorful military symbols, soldiers, flags, and wording seen on both sides of the stein. The underside bottom is marked 'Made in Western Germany'.  The name Adolf Bode is seen around the upper rim in bold black lettering. The stein is beautifully accented with gold paint. Measures 9 1/2" in total height.  No damage found overall.  Has a lovely nude lady lithophane found on the inside bottom which is an added bonus.  Makes you want to finish your brew a little quicker!!  The previous owner seemed to think this stein dated to the 1950-1960 time period, but I am completely unsure. Sold as found/as pictured.  Buyer to pay shipping costs.  Thank you.
