Description
Vintage G. Spaulding & Brothers Full Web Baseball Glove. This type of glove design was originally developed between 1900 and 1909. "Full Webs" are sewn directly to the thumb and forefinger. The leather on this entire glove is very soft; the web, patch, button and leather piping are in decent condition and the inside leather lining is soft, supple and fully intact. There is a small hole in the thumb, middle and ring finger. The Web has SS mark on it also on the backside of the middle finger area and lower back by label. The palm of the glove is well worn, but still intact. Intact Spalding Tag. With brass button It's rare that these full web gloves come up for auction, especially one in such good condition.See photos for condition of this item as they are part of the description.
