    Description

    Most likely intended for holding wine rather than beer, this lidded stein, produced by Black Starr and Gorham in West Germany during the 1950s, is an interesting example of Mid Century Modern design.  It measures about 7 in. tall by 4 1/2 in. in diameter at its widest point and is in excellent condition with wear on the pewter band on the base.
