    Description

    Vintage Baseball Catcher's Mask**Franklin M-19.
    This is not my area of expertise, but I'll provide the best information I can.  I believe this to be a youth size, since the widest part across the wire measures 7 1/4", and 9" from the top of the wire to the bottom of the wire.  The elastic straps still have good stretch and the leather and padding are still supple.  I am guessing this to be from the 1960's, but this is
    only a guess
    on my part, since the leather looks the same vintage as my husband's baseball glove from when he was a boy in the 1960's.
