from the 1950s.  ~Earl Torgeson~  Professional model
Genuine, Leather 'Trapper' Basemans Mitt.
in very nice condition.   Lower palm is branded   'MacGregor, G154'

Clifford Earl Torgeson was an American Major League Baseball player. A first baseman, he played on five teams for 15 years, from 1947 through 1961.. Boston Braves (1947–1952), Philadelphia Phillies (1953–1955), Detroit Tigers (1955–1957), Chicago White Sox (1957–1961), & New York Yankees (1961). Torgeson's had a lifetime .265 batting average with 149 home runs, 740 RBI and a .989 fielding percentage.
