Vintage 1940s MacGregor G117 Silver Dixie Walker Right-Hand BROOKLYN DODGERS USA

Here's what I don't know - The exact year of manufacturing. Here's what I do:
G117 model (Right handed glove for left-handed throwers).
Dixie Walker played until 1949.
This is definitely mid/late 40s - Very early 50's.
The engraved autograph of Walker looks to have originally been in silver, and there is some fading.
Dixie Walker is sort of an infamous player despite being an all-star. I'll let you look up why.
Web looks like Barrel Web (which was prevalent in 50s but could have been around in late 40s. )
The glove is in really good condition. Leather is soft. Minimal cracking. Not stiff. Previous owner added a soft cotton sticky pad inside to reduce impact which is genius on a functional level, not so much on an aesthetic level. However you could display this in a fashion that the pad is not visible, you could trim the pad. You could remove the pad (though with some surface leather layer removal when doing it so be careful.
