VINTAGE 1939-1945 SONNETT CRAFT BUILT "FRANK MCCORMICK" FIRST BASEMEN MITT (LH)

Description

I purchased this item at an Estate Sale.
It is a First Basemen's Mitt for a Left-handed player.
It is marked in the fingers position:
Sonnett
Craft Built
DMB
It is marked at the palm position:
The Frank McCormick
It has a broken rivet (see photo)
All of the eyelets & lacing are intact.
Stitching is in very good shape.
Obvious wear damage on the edges / piping.
The inside leather is very soft but crackling.
The exterior leather is in very nice shape.
Frank McCormick played for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Braves from 1934 to 1948.
BUT I'M SURE YOU KNEW THAT ALREADY, SINCE YOU ARE LOOKING AT VINTAGE BASEBALL MEMORIBILIA AND EQUIPTMENT.   : )
