    Vintage,  ~JC Higgins~ Leather Baseball Glove.
    Basemans Mitt, from the 1930's.
    'Babe Dahlgren' signature model
    Small, Youth size Glove. Buckle-strap across Top wrist
    Leather is still soft & supple
    *The Leather interior shows some very minor wear from past use, pictured
    Glove measures:  approx.  9"  tall  &   8 1/2" to  9"  wide

    Ellsworth "Babe" Dahlgren was an American professional baseball infielder. He played twelve seasons in Major League Baseball from 1935 to 1946 for the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Boston Braves, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Browns, Brooklyn Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates. Dahlgren replaced Lou Gehrig in the Yankees line up on May 2, 1939,ending Gehrig's 14-year, 2,130 consecutive game streak.
