Very Rare & Unusual 1940's NY Yankees Patch Framed & Matted.
Not really sure what this was off of.  I think it may have been a pocket patch off an ushers or ticket takers jacket at the Stadium.  It could also be off a grounds keepers work clothes. From the shape of NY on the patch and the fact that its made from a canvas or cotton material would indicate it WWII era.  I've had this in my collection for many years and its well taken care of.   I haven't seen any photo's of this patch and to my knowledge none like it are on Ebay.  It's in good condition, I matted and framed it on a pin striped background in an 9 1/2 x 11 1/2 inch frame ready to hang.  Very unusual and rare.  Excellent addition to your Yankees collection.
