    Description

    Here is a very rare vintage mid 1970's Macgregor Al Oliver endorsed model M3BK baseball glove for a Right Handed thrower and thus fits on the left hand. Made in Japan. The glove is an adult size glove and it measures 12" long through the pocket. It is broken in and very soft and flexible. MacGregor made the glove from 1974 - 1976 according to MacGregor catalog info.  The glove has soft leather inside and out. Natural Ball Pocket, Al Oliver Autograph Model, Flex-Pad, Hand Lasted, M3BK, MacGregor and Adjusta-Wrist stamped on the glove.   There is a nice original red MacGregor patch sewn on the backside.

There are some areas where the black leather is showing light wear from use.  A nice quality mid-range on up mid 1970's glove.
    Al Oliver played from 1968-1985 in all. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1968-1977, Texas Rangers from 1978-1981 and also played for Montreal, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Toronto. He was a 7 time All-Star and won the NL batting title in 198 with .331 average.
