    This glove was purchased from a collection out of Indiana. The gentleman purchased this glove directly from Vic Aldridge's daugter. Vic Aldridge was born and died in Indiana, nicknamed The Hoosier Schoolmaster. He played major league baseball from 1917-1928. In 1925 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, he won two of the seven games beating hall of famer Stan Covelski of the Washington Senators. His daughter sold the glove in the late 1970's to the owners recollection and she stated that he only used 3 gloves in his career and this one was from 1924-1928 period and definitely used in 1925 World Series. We have compared this glove with his photos from the era and it looks exact match to our opinion. We guarantee this glove is what we say it is.
