Munich Child Blue German Lidded Beer Stein Numbered, 1/4 L
This cobalt blue stein has the Munich Child. Created as the coat-of-arms or archival seal of Munich in 1239, the centrally depicted Münchner Kindl (Munich Child) has evolved from a hooded monk standing in front of Munich’s gate to a charming child and symbol of the city. Signed "Gruss Aus Munchen", which translates to "Welcome To Munich". The lid is also in relief and with famous Frauenkirchhe two church towers on the thumb lift.
Measures: High 4-1/8 inch, Wide 3-1/2 inch without handle.
Marked on the bottom Reinhold Merkelbach mark and numbered 3528.
Excellent pre-owned condition, has a
some scratches on the lid,
no damage. No original box.
