    Description

    For sale is an incredible, rare, vintage MacGregor M220 Roberto "Bob" Clemente signature model baseball mitt. It has some light wear, but this glove is in excellent condition for its age and looks like it was barely used. On the left side of the interior you can pull back the lining to see the stuffing material, but this might just be how the glove was manufactured.  Please view the photos to judge condition for yourself.
    Clemente started his career with Pittsburgh in 1955 and this item dates from his early years with the Pirates. I am not sure of the exact year this mitt is from, but it is stamped with the Brunswick-MacGregor logo which was first used in 1961, so I believe it is from the early-to-mid 1960s. A must-have for any Clemente or baseball glove collector!
