    Hello. I want to say that I always try to describe the items as best as I can. I do not claim to be an expert on the majority of the items I sell.     I also have an old Rawlings US Army Special Services Split Finger mitt listed in my store on eBay while it lasts.
    This glove definitely shows some age and use. The leather looks very old but has held together rather nicely. The button on the wrist strap looks original. The rivets on the two piece web look original as well.See photos.
    There is no brand that I could find on this glove. It has Pee Wee Reese embossed on it along with Genuine Cowhide.
    The wrist strap has 1227 embossed on it.
    The trim on the wrist strap and opening were once black. You can still see the black but much of it has worn off. There are some scrapes on the leather as well. Not a ton, just a few.
    The pocket looks like it had a shoelace that replaced the leather binding on one side. The other leather binding looks original.
    This mitt is for the right handed thrower. Fits on your left hand.
    Color is a lighter brown.
    I believe this dates to the 40's or early 50's. This will make a nice wall hanger for a collector's man cave.
