    Description

    Original WW1 Antique Pioneer Regimental Military German Beer Stein
    with a
    Screw-Off Finial. Dated 1914. The owner was Reservist Henrion from the 2 Komp. 2 Lothr. Pioneer Battalion Nr. 20 in Metz from 1912 - 1914. It has an ornate pewter lid and the finial unscrews to reveal a wonderful blue glass prism. It is porcelain with military scenes and handpainted highlights. There are rosters in the back and a wonderful lithopane in the bottom and it is about 12 1/4" high. There is a
    small pewter tear under the lid and some lines in the lithopane. It is otherwise excellent and
