The Shulton Co. produced and marketed The Stein Collection Gift Sets, four different etched glass steins with pewter lids, between 1986 and 1990, these gift sets included a Nautical Glass Stein and a 4.25 oz of Old Spice After Shave. This is the third design in this series it was sold in 1989 featuring the Sloop (sailboat) “
Columbia
”, the winner of
America
’s Cup in 1986 and 1901.
The bottom of the glass stein is molded with four letters, ALWE, should be some type of reference for the glass maker, I was unable to identify. The pewter lid is decorated with an Anchor on top; the lid's attachment arm is molded on one side with
W.Germany
and Old Spice on the opposite side.
Vintage pre-owned; very good condition; glass has no scratches or chips. Pewter top has one small dent and surface rub marks.

Glass Stein Top Opening: 3” outside dia. ~ 2-3/4” inside dia.
