Up on the auction block is a very nice circa 1940's leather split finger baseball glove and leather red thread baseball!
As the photos show, the glove is in game used but good condition. It has surface light wear through out, no ink, and no major damage (see all photos for condition). The leather web tying looks to have been replaced but that's about it.
All of the original piping is present with just light surface wear. The wrist strap with metal button is in great shape. The leather interior of the glove has no major damage and is nice and soft and smooth. There are no visible markings on the glove.
It is a nice full adult size glove measuring 9 1/2" tall X 11" wide. Included is the period red thread baseball seen in the photos.
Wood display stand is not included.
