Up on the auction block is a late 1930's early 1940's leather double loop leather baseball glove endorsed by
AUGIE GALAN
! As the photos show, it is in game used but very good condition. It has surface wear through out but no major damage (see all photos for condition). All of the tying is present and tight. The leather wrist strap is still firmly attached. All of the leather is nice and soft and supple. All of the edging is present with some surface wear. The leather interior of the glove is in good condition with some light surface wear (see last photo). Marked on the palm is the CHAMPION LINE makers logo along with HAND FORMED POCKET, the model # F15, and the
AUGIE GALAN
endorsement in script style font (see close-up).
The glove measures approx 9" tall X 9 1/4" wide.
Wood display stand is not included.
