  • Condition: The glove is soft and flexible and was re-oiled by the Nokona factory a few years ago. Nice deep stamping on it. The interior leather is very soft with no real issues, just a little light chafing. Nokona patch is nice but shows a little wear. Lacing looks original and is intact. The piping is leather and is overall nice and soft, with a little wear here and there. NO OWNER'S INK on the glove.The box shows wear from laying around for years. The Nokona label on the box cover has part of the label missing along the top as the pictures show. Some writing on the label by the store selling it, including YCY and 8.95 in pencil and Chico C.in black ink. The lid is torn along one corner as the pictures show. There is fading in the color on the box exterior, which was originally a dark green. Other wear on edges, corners etc. of the box as pictures show.

    Description

    Here is a used but still nice and usable Nokona model CC Chico Carrasquel model CC baseball glove that is a 11" model. It also comes with a Nokona glove box. Made in USA of course in Nocona, Texas.  Adult sized glove. The glove is stamped darkly in black ink "Field Rite" Pocket, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Pro Line, Autograph Registered, Chico Carrasquel, Nokona and CC. The Nokona glove box measures 9.5" x 9.5" x 5".

    Chico Carrasquell played from 1950-1959 mainly for the Chicago White Sox (1950-1955) and also played for the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City A's and the Baltimore Orioles. He was mainly a shortstop. He was a 4 time All-Star. He was a Gold Glove type shortstop, leading AL SS's in fielding percentage 3 times in the 1950's, prior to the Gold Glove Award being given.
