-You are ordering this Villeroy and Boch, Mettlach, antique, German, 2.7 Liter, ovoid, master beer stein with fancy pewter lid.
-Approx. 10" tall, weighs just over 3 pounds empty.
-Mold 2332 / 1031, cataloged as Gnomes Drinking.
-Design is attributed to Henrich Schlitt.
-Features scenes of celebratory gnomes, drinking from beer steins, with differing levels of inebriation, with kegs near by, surrounded by vines.
-Multiple sayings include, "Good humor benefits digestion," "A good drop from barley and hops, that is life's best medicine," and "A good drink makes old people young." (credit to the beer stein library for information on this stein and most other antique steins.
