-Mold 1615, Mill Scene. This theme is repeated on several old German steins.  The inscription is an excerpt from the poem "In einnem Kuhlen Grunde" and translates to, "In a cool valley a mill wheel turns, my sweetheart is missing, she used to live there."  The scene gives the viewer a sense of love lost, separation, parting, and longing.
