    Description

    Beautiful little Rawlings baseball glove.  Lonny Frey played from 1933 to 1948, his best years were from 1938-1943.  He passed in 2009 at the age of 99.  There is much more info about him if one cares to search the internet.  I would estimate this mitt was made sometime around 1940, making it over 80 years old.  For its age, it is in excellent condition, with very legible print and supple leather. I  used saddle soap to clean it and Bick 4 to condition the leather. Any questions, please let me know.
