    Description

    Beautiful late 19th early 20th Century lithophane stein with a porcelain lid. It is not signed but I am certain it was made in Germany.
    I'm not positive this is Blue Onion. I don't know of any period Blue Onion patterns with birds like this one.
    It is about 6 3/8" tall x 5 1/4" wide.
    It is in excellent condition. There is no damage. There is some slight/acceptable play at the hinge and where the lid is fastened to the handle. The lid sits securely on the rim. The lithophane is strong and expertly done (see picture #9). This piece displays exceptionally well.
    My pictures don't always project the ideal image. I have serious problems with glare and lighting. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, especially photo related ones.
    Regarding combined shipping. In most cases, several pieces can be shipped in a single box. When this occurs, I will credit the purchaser's PayPal account any shipping difference. In-other-words, I charge exact shipping for same time multiple purchases. I cannot issue these credits until I've purchased the postage so it may take a day or two. I do this often. I have never had a discrepancy complaint. My customers are in very good hands.
