Joe Garagiola 1954 Wilson Catchers Mitt RARE With SIGNED TODAY Show 1973 Card

I can only find the Joe Garagiola A2542 mitt offered in Wilson catalogues in 1954 and 1955.  I don't know if they were offered other years but if so, I don't see them listed. This signature model mitt was made for a right handed thrower and has a Wilson cloth label on the back of the thumb.  The outer and inner leather are not torn or ripped, no holes and is still pretty soft. The mitt is somewhat stiff however from age and lack of use. A really nice Garagiola signature that still has some of the silver stamping. In pretty good shape but there is some damage to the lacing in the web area as the photos will show. Lacing broken in a couple of places and it appears missing in the lower grommets of the web. Also included is a baseball card signed by him that mentions the NBC ALL STARS, TODAY Show in 1973, which I obtained from the collection of a gentleman who wrote to sports stars requesting autographs for over 40 years.  Joe G. played with the St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs.  He was in the 1946 World Series.
