    VINTAGE 1950s J.C. HIGGINS BASEBALL GLOVE PAMPHLET HOW TO PLAY BETTER BASEBALL
    Small (approx 5 inches by 3.5 inches) booklet with single page tips for playing baseball. One entry for each position (three for pitching), plus hitting, bunting, base running and coaching.
    Mostly by star players of the 1950s. Ted Williams (Left Field & Hitting) and Harvey Kuenn (Shortstop & Bunting) each have two entries. Undated, but the Vern Stephens picture shows him in an Orioles cap - he was with that team only in 1954 and very early into the 1955 season. Issued on a loop of string, was likely attached to J. C. Higgins gloves (sold at Sears) produced in the mid-fifties.
