    Description

    Item for sale is a Joseph Mayer Munich Child 1/4 liter porcelain lidded beer stein.  Produced by Schierholz & Sohn for Joseph Mayer.  Estimated to have been produced sometime just prior to 1900, a period when Schierholz produced most of their figural steins. Lithopane depicts the Bavaria statue.
    Unfortunately, this specimen has some damage to the porcelain lid at the junction of the handle and the lithophane has a repair where there was a hole.  Item still displays nicely.  Please see all pictures for complete details.
