    Description

    Hanke was one of the pioneers of stein making in the Westerwald area of Germany. He lead in the Historismus movement which produced the colbalt blue salt glazed steins typical of the area. The firm took up the other styles that
    that gained popularity. This 1L stein features a print under glaze (PUG) The print depicts several people at a table gathered around a soldier.
