    Group of Two Antique German Beer Steins Porcelain + Merkelbach/Wick c.1890s
    Description:
    Group of two antique beer steins manufactured around 1890s.
    The stein on the left is porcelain showing a man in Tyrolean attire dreaming of his sweetheart. There is a lithophane in the bottom and pewter lid with a gnome holding a beer keg thumblift.
    The stein on the right
    is made of pottery - it was manufactured my Merkelbach and Wick and shows a resting landsknecht.
    Both steins have defects - the porcelain one have a hairline, thepottery one has a small flake in the bottom resulting in short hairline. See my last pics for details.
    The one on the left is 9" tall to the top of the finial, the other one is 7.5"
