GERMANY ANTIQUE PORCELAIN PUB WINDMILL FARM SCENES PEWTER LID 8 1/4" STEIN 1900s
This is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Very Nice Antique Porcelain Stein. This features a detailed and colorful depiction of a tavern with country scenes on the sides, and a decorated pewter lid. There are two men and a serving woman wearing traditional Bavarian clothing on the largest scene of the pub, with a windmill on the right and a matching farm house on the left. The lid has a design of a bearded man holding a large shield and the thumb lever has filigree cut-outs. The lid is attached by a thin pewter band around the top of the branch-like handle. On the underside is the Germany mark that dates this to the early 1900s.
