    Description

This Kennedy Ferris Fain basemitt model 630 dates to the 1950's.  It is Ken-Wel made as the Ken-Wel company transitioned to Kennedy (the surname of one of the original Ken-Wel partners) around this time. It also has the same Ken-Wel model scheme number 630.  The Ken-Wel model 630 was always at the top of the line just one step below the model 632.  Signature adult size model made for a right handed thrower. Great cloth label that does have a name and number lightly written on. Heavy leather piping. Inner liner in great shape. NOB. Ferris Fain was one of the Phillies "Whiz Kids" in the early 1950's and won NL batting titles in 1951 and 1952. He was also a 5 time All Star and 4th in the ROY balloting in 1947.
