    New York Yankees 50s-60s Era
    Catcher's Mitt
    in good condition. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Elston Howard was the first African American ballplayer to be signed by the New York Yankees. He had a great career and is credited with adding some productive seasons to Yogi Berra's final playing years. The leather and printing on the glove are both in good condition. It was obviously used and loved by the kid whose name appears proudly on the back and initials on the front. Two grommets are loose at the top of the mitt. Some lacing appears near new and other original. Great glove from the final golden years of the New York Yankees.
