    I know nothing about vintage baseball mitts… This was my grandfathers mitt.
    I didn’t make any attempt to clean it at all because I thought it looked pretty cool with its original patina however if you do a light cleaning on it it will look even better.
    All of the leases are original and intact… However they are old so they are as found.
    In my opinion this mitt would look very nice in a trophy case just the way it is. It has that stored old patina that looks pretty cool. Nicely worn in and used but not trashed. It looks good to me.
    However make sure you look at the photographs and decide for yourself. Thank you, John
