    Description

    Catcher's Mitt, Bill Dickey Model, Marathon USA, c.1940s, New York Yankees HOF . Used catcher's mitt, as pictured with general wear from active use. This full size leather glove measures about 9 x 10". The fabric lacing is intact and appears original. Silver embossed lettering is intact and readable, including Dickey's fascimile signature. The leather shows no rips or tears. The stitching is intact. The liner is intact with no rips, tears or cracks. The leather is soft and supple. I see no extraneous writing or ink marks.
    I acquired this glove originally in 1996 for my own collection. It has been stored and displayed in a smoke-free home since then. After over twenty years it's time to find a new home for this and many more sports items!
