Antique Villeroy & Boch Mettlach Beer Tumbler Germany Woman Celebration Feast.  Antique German beaker made by Velleroy and Boch/Mettlach, the most famous beer stein manufacturer.  Made of pottery in PUG (Print Under Glass) techique unique to Mettlach.  This beaker depicts a lady holding a roasted peacock (!) in one hand and a large pitcher in the other.  The inscription "Wohl Bekomms" translates "To your health"  Marked with Mettlach Mercury stamped under glaze mark, 2327 incised model number, 1025 decoration, and 03 for the year of production - 1903.  This beaker is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  A strange stain appears at the bottom of the beaker that I haven't tried to get out.  Very slight crazing only visible under magnification.  Measures 5" tall and holds 0.25L.  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
