    The stein depicted in this auction was made by Villeroy Boch Mettlach firm from Germany.  The stein has a pewter lid with a unique thumb.  The size is 0.5 L. and is plain white in color.  The form number is 1526.  The stein was made in 1908 which makes it 112 years old.  It has the green Mercury mark on the base.  This is a very nice addition to any stein collection.
