DESCRIPTION: Up for auction tonight we have an antique Stall & Dean split finger fielders glove #8057. It is also marked SPECIAL on the fourth finger outside of the pocket. It is also marked near the bottom of back. Appears it says HORSEHIDE LINING. Measures in at approx. 91/2" x 9 1/2". Can't tell if there was or is an endorsed name. It is game used, as has some scratches and scrapes. No tears that I can see. Appears to be the original leather lacing. Has had plenty of oiling over the years. Very soft and pliable. Does not appear to have had a tag. There is a name written in old green ink under the strap. Can't quite make it out. You folks can make the call. What you see is what you will be sent. Scratches, dents, scrapes, bends, etc. The majority of items I sell are used. They come to me from estates, auctions, tag sales, etc. Nothing is new & perfect, and if it is, I still won't say it. Please see pics for condition. Thank you.
