    Antique 1/2L Mettlach 2382
    German Beer Stein.
    Dated 1898.
    This stein is called the Thirsty Rider and has an inlay castle turret lid. It is signed H. Schlitt and the thumblift is a man blowing a horn. It is
    about  9 1/2" high and the bottom has a castle abby mark, 2382, Geschutzt, II 25 and 98 (the Villeroy and Boch date code for 1898). The dog has a scuffed area (see the photos) and it is otherwise excellent with No Cracks, No Chips, No Repairs and
