    Description

    Here is a nice stoneware 1900 era beer or brewery mug from Germany.   One half liter size, this is denoted Brauerei z.d. 3 Kannen, which stands for Brauerei zu den 3 kannen.    This mug is in nice condition, has a couple of small chips as shown on the bottom base, and some light wear in the coloring I would suspect.   It might be from the production of the stein 120 years ago.  A great stein, not a mettlach I believe, but a neat one. The lid fits well and functions as it was designed to do.
