    antique baseball catchers glove.I have bought and sold several antique split finger baseball gloves in the early 1900’s but never one that appears to be this old. It is 8” wide and 9” long with “genuine horse hide” stamped on the front. I bought this glove at an antique shop in a small ok town, Bixby ok. You can see from my pictures that the leather had rotted at the heal of the glove, otherwise no other damage is apparent. The rear of the glove is made out of canvas.
