    Description

    Antique 1910's Spalding DX basemitt.
    Has five patent dates. Three are from 1891, one is from 1895 and one is from 1910. Has very soft leather throughout including soft and smooth inside lining. Has bold silver labeling and no writing.
    Has an antique repair job in the pocket where some scuffing in the leather was reinforced. None of the scuffing appears to have gone through the leather and all the leather remains very soft and supple.
    Measures approximately 8 3/4 x 9 1/4. Likely adolescent or youth size however I can get my hand inside if I unbuckle the wrist strap.
    The grommets have the green copper residue and the mitt has been re-laced. Has a terrific Spalding cloth label.
