1972 Triumph Bonneville

1972 Triumph Bonneville 4 speed. This motorcycle is ready to ride. She’s a little sweaty but mechanically sound. Motor was rebuilt, original hubs were rebuilt with aluminum high shroud wheels and stainless Buchanan spokes, and all the rubber was replaced 2 years ago. Since then I’ve maybe put 1500 miles on the Dunlop K70s and fresh motor. That mileage estimate is probably high. This triumph has a 12 volt system with a Harley coil located under the tank and a regulator rectifier under the seat. I bought this motorcycle to build into my next chopper but the project before this one got delayed and now I need space to finish the first bike. The Bonnie is stock with a few mismatch parts like the trophy side covers. The seat is an older aftermarket piece. The only thing it is missing is the latch to make the seat lock in the down position. I’ve never needed it personally which is why I never bought one to put on it. As I said above she is mechanically restored but cosmetically a little sweaty. Ride her like she is or restore her completely she is a good candidate for both!
