    Description

Here is a vintage mid to late 1950's MacGregor Ferris Fain Trapper Model G155 baseball 1st baseman's mitt or glove for a RH thrower. Lots of the original silver stamping is still there on this ne The glove has soft leather piping which is decent for the most part. The mitt is adult size and measures 11" long through the pocket. Quality  reddish-brown leather. This model 1st base mitt was made from 1954 to 1959 according to the MacGregor catalog info that I have.

Ferris Fain played from 1947-1955 as a first baseman for the Philadelphia Athletics or A's (1947-1952)  the Chicago White Sox (1953-1954) and finished with the Cleveland Indians in 1955.  Twice he won the American League batting title (1951 and 1952). He was an All-Star 5 times.
I have other gloves and mitts on eBay ending now and I like to combine shipping whenever possible. If you win more than one glove you'll have to pay the grand total for shipping. But I'll refund you the difference back on the price of combined shipping. Or I'll send out an invoice if possible.
